Wild Wonder Atlas Publisher
A desktop app (macOS) that sends finished Wild Wonder Atlas videos to TikTok. The person running the app connects their own TikTok account, previews the video and confirms the upload. TikTok then delivers the video to that account's inbox, where the owner edits, adds a caption and posts it in the TikTok app.
Nothing is posted publicly by the app. Every step that touches a TikTok account requires the account owner's explicit consent.

TikTok integration
The app uses only the products and permissions it needs.
| TikTok Login Kit | Connects the owner's TikTok account through TikTok's official OAuth page (Desktop flow with PKCE). The app never sees the TikTok password. |
|---|---|
| user.info.basic | Reads the open ID and display name to show which account is connected and to confirm the upload destination. |
| Content Posting API · video.upload | Uploads the selected video file to the connected account's TikTok inbox as a draft (upload mode). The owner completes editing and posting in TikTok. |
| Not used | The app does not request video.publish (direct posting), does not read videos, followers, comments or messages, and does not post on the owner's behalf. |
Data and security
Access tokens, the app secret and TikTok upload URLs are kept in memory only and are discarded when the app closes. A small local upload record (account ID, file hash, TikTok publish ID and status) is kept on the computer to prevent duplicate uploads. Videos are sent only to TikTok's official API.
Owners can remove the app's access at any time in TikTok under Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services permissions.
