Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Wild Wonder Atlas ("we", "us") handles on this website and in the Wild Wonder Atlas Publisher desktop app ("the Publisher"), and how it is used.

1. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it has no sign-up or contact forms. It is hosted on GitHub Pages; like most web hosts, GitHub may record technical information such as IP addresses in server logs for security purposes, under GitHub's own privacy statement. Links to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook open those services, which have their own privacy policies.

2. The Publisher app: information from TikTok

When an account owner connects TikTok to the Publisher through TikTok Login Kit and approves the request on TikTok's own page, the Publisher receives:

• user.info.basic: the account's open ID and display name, used only to show which account is connected and to confirm the upload destination.
• video.upload: permission to send a video selected by the owner to that account's TikTok inbox as a draft.

The Publisher never receives the TikTok password. It does not read the account's videos, followers, comments or messages, and it does not post publicly.

3. How the Publisher stores data

• Access tokens, refresh tokens, the app secret and TikTok upload URLs are kept in memory only and are discarded when the app closes. They are never written to files or logs.
• A local upload record is saved on the owner's computer to prevent duplicate uploads. It contains the environment, the TikTok open ID, the video file's SHA-256 hash, the TikTok publish ID, upload progress and status.
• Videos are read from the owner's computer and sent only to TikTok's official API.

We do not sell, rent or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Retention and deletion

In-memory credentials are deleted when the Publisher closes. Local upload records stay on the owner's computer until the owner deletes them. Account owners can revoke the Publisher's access at any time in TikTok under Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services permissions. Videos delivered to a TikTok inbox are managed in TikTok under TikTok's policies.

5. Children

Our videos are made for kids and families, but this website and the Publisher do not collect personal information from children. The Publisher is intended for TikTok account owners who meet TikTok's age requirements.

6. Changes

We will update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
